My Story
My name is Jose Chavez from California, USA. Born and raised by two loving and hard-working immigrants. I love my parents, and I know they tried their best in raising 3 children in an unfamiliar country, not knowing how to speak the language, and pushing through despite being tricked into a promise that they would have a better life if they came to the states.
I am a CS major, introvert, and easily overwhelmed. I began to experience anxiety and depression back in high school. Sadly, I fell into a spiraling and pathetic addiction of pornography at the age of 13. This took a toll on my social skills, romantic relationships, and self-esteem. It ruined my hopes and dreams. It ruined my fucking life, and yet, I cave back to it.
Regardless if you find the real me, I made this blog to share my story and struggles for those who are in the same boat as me. A constant reminder to not give up no matter how difficult Life can get. No matter how tempting Death seems. This is a reminder to continue walking in this dark tunnel and to find the light at the end. Is there even a light? Fuck it. Best to find out.

If you stumbled onto this blog, welcome. I'm not a therapist, I'm not an expert, and I don't have all the answers. I'm just someone trying to figure it out, one day at a time. If something here resonates with you, I'm glad. If you're struggling too, you're not alone. Check the resources page - there are people who can help.
